Team Sheets Guide

Team Sheets Guide

Team Sheets lets you create a list of players on a team (roster) and share that list with coaches, parents watching the game, or the media. The list can be shared with other users of the app, to the web, and to other companion apps written by us at scrbrd.com

Account Creation

Creating an account is optional but advised. By linking your Google account you can use multiple devices and your data is not lost if you remove the application or lose your device. By linking a Google account you also gain access to the website to manage teams, data export, and housekeeping functions. Linking an Apple account has the same benefits but no web access.

You can unlink your account at any time using your Google or Apple dashboard.

New Team

Make a new team and type in the name of the team and notes by tapping on the circle on the bottom right corner of the screen, and tap New Team. The notes should describe the league and the year the team participates in (this is helpful when you have many teams).

Adding Players

Players can be added one at a time. Note that only the first few photos are free, a pro upgrade is required to add a photo to every player on the list / roster.

The website supports importing and editing players which may be easier if you have many to enter.

Tap on the team you just created and then tap on the + symbol to add player details and tap save.

Adding Groups

By creating a group you can filter players into ‘Starters’ or ‘Special Teams’ depending on what your particular sport and team sheet requires. Tap Groups at the bottom of the screen then + to name your group and then tap Add. To allocate players to a group select the group and mark the player on the right as included or not included.

Sideline, Starting, Excluded.

These can be used for any purpose but have special meaning in the Play Counter Pro App. A starting player is shown on the field when this group is selected. A sideline player can be selected whereas an Excluded player cannot be selected in this group. An example would be to rest the Quarterback when defining the Defense as they would not play. This can help the play counter as it will reduce the number of players shown.

Publishing

Only you can see your team until you publish it. Each time you make an edit you will need to publish it again to let others see the changes.
